Hangul Calligraphy Workshop
On 7th of October, our King Sejong Institute students came together to celebrate the 579th Hangul Day (한글날) through a special Hangul Calligraphy Workshop, co-hosted by the King Sejong Institute Center USA and the Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles!
Hangul Day honors the creation of the Korean alphabet by King Sejong the Great (세종대왕), whose name our institute proudly bears. His mission to make literacy accessible to all Koreans continues to inspire us today.
Students enjoyed hands-on calligraphy practice, creating their own masterpieces inspired by meaningful words, poems, and lyrics.
